Avid coldplunger, journalist and river enthusiast, Rebecca Felgate, sets out to learn the story of her adopted homewaters, the glacier-fed Bow River. A source of living, flowing history, the river serves as the lifeblood of Southern Alberta, threading together a collective of over 1.6 million people reliant on its juice. Headwaters lie in the iconic Banff National Park, a tourism mecca ensnaring visitors from far and wide to its riverbanks. However, like most global freshwater sources, the river is under threat…
